CHIT SHAKTI

Chit Shakti meaning the power of consciousness or the power to create aims at bringing awareness and exploration of the depths of the all pervading, encompassing, infinite consciousness, evoking the Energy of Shakti, the power of healing and movement and bringing awareness of union on the path of the Divine.

Chit Shakti combines healing arts of Vedic Counselling, Yoga Philosophy, Raja Yoga, Ayurveda, Mantra and Tantra practices, Vastu and Prana Vidya Healing as some of the methods to attain a life of expansive awareness, fulfilment, joyful existence and bliss.

​

Honouring the place of Shakti in Yoga is the very essence of Yoga. Without this, Chit Shakti or power of consciousness, the inner yoga of self realisation cannot succeed.

The focus on creating the integral yoga offerings of Chit Shakti, is to provide guidance towards healing and living in close relationship with the Self.

In this comes full expression and creation of the life that you dream and the beautiful transformative Supreme power of living in yoga.

Along the yogic path, we want to awaken the dormant potential within us, the nature of spirit, the seed of the unmanifest, invisible energy. All practices and offerings aim to release that potential so that you can decide the direction your life flourishes.

I look forward to guiding you to heal those aspects within you and find that creative connection of living in the depths of your being, with your Self in higher awareness and purposeful action awakening Prana Shakti for healing and transformation.

a note on yoga

When we practise yoga, we practise it for attaining balance, harmony and equilibrium in all aspects of our personality and expression. There is an urge in everyone to find happiness, tranquillity and harmony. We would like to attain psychological balance and avoid tensions and conflicts of daily life. Today, in our world, we find that we need two items to make our lives a complete success. The first item is vitality, which is not physical strength but inner strength, willpower, clarity of mind and the ability to perform every action with intention. The second item is tranquility. We are so engrossed in our day to day activities that we forget, in our intellectual and emotional tensions, that we have lost contact with our inner nature. We have two forms of expression, external development is one aspect and internal development is the other. In yoga, we try to combine both aspects. On the external level we develop the faculties of the intellect and the senses. We also develop emotional expression, but on a very superficial level. On the internal level, many yogic techniques bring about a state of inner awareness. By becoming aware of our mind and our mental perceptions, and by integrating this awareness into our day to day life, we can become more balanced, harmonious and complete.
